To the untrained eye your website may be beautiful but if I visit your website and a lead capture box doesn't pop up somewhere along the line ...it tells me one thing! You are leaving money on the table which means you are not operating at your full potential!
You know the boxes I am talking about...the ones that pop up out of nowhere asking you to subscribe to something, or download a free offer as long as you provide your EMAIL! Some even find them annoying but the truth is they are one of the most IMPORTANT pieces of your business!
A successful business is one that is ALWAYS capturing "LEADS" even when the doors are closed and the staff are asleep! Now your job is to nurture that relationship to possibly convert them into an actual client! 2. You are creating a direct line of communication to prospects without the need of social media platforms and can create 1 informative email about your products/services to thousands of people at once!
Goal: You don't want to overkill the use of your emails as this may annoy your prospects and cause them to unsubscribe. One to two emails per week (unless you have a special promo going) is usually enough to start building a relationship. REMEMBER THE KEY IS TO BUILD RELATIONSHIPS! This technique is call EMAIL MARKETING. What is so great about marketing via email is you are not just hoping and praying they see it on social media...you know they got your message!
3. Should FB/IG and all other social media platforms disappear tomorrow, you won't lose your database of prospects (aka potential clients) and clients.
Goal: Social Media should never be the only tool you use to promote your business. It should be a tool used to convert cold leads (people who know nothing about you) into warm leads (people who are interested in you) to be converted into people who actually DO BUSINESS WITH YOU! Don't leave that in social medias hands! Use socially media as a tool to take prospects through your lead generation system.
